All big boat work is performed with the hull out of the water.

Why big boat rates are higher
Larger vessels take longer, use significantly more product, and require a finer standard of finish — particularly for high-value motor yachts. Working at height often requires scaffolding and elevated access equipment. Big boat rates reflect the skill, time and equipment required to do the job properly.
Hull out of water — always. All big boat work is performed with the hull out of the water. This gives our team full access to below the waterline, the keel, running gear and waterline band. All bookings are coordinated with your marina or boatyard haul-out schedule.
What is a detail reset?
Before entering any ongoing detailing arrangement, your boat needs to be at a consistent baseline condition — what we call Tide Standard. If your boat has been neglected, hasn't been detailed in a while, or has significant oxidisation or buildup, it will need a Detail Reset first.
A Detail Reset is a one-time comprehensive detail that brings your vessel up to baseline. It's assessed on inspection and quoted separately based on the actual condition of the boat.
Think of it like this: if your lawn hasn't been mowed in six months, the first cut is going to be bigger than the regular maintenance mow that follows. Same principle.
Once your boat is at Tide Standard, regular maintenance keeps it there at a predictable, more efficient rate.
Complete package
The Complete Package includes everything in both Interior Care and Exterior Care — the full inside-and-out treatment. Pricing is the same as the Premium tier.
For vessels over 20ft, the Complete Package is always quoted individually.

For vessels already at Tide Standard, we offer recurring detailing at a more favourable rate compared to one-off jobs. The right schedule depends on:
- How often you use the boat
- Where the boat lives (marina, trailer, outdoor mooring)
- Your local conditions (salt exposure, UV, weather)
We're flexible. Some clients see us monthly, some quarterly, some seasonally. We'll work out what makes sense for your boat and your budget.
